PERSONAL PROFILE AND PASSPORT

Luqman SAKA, (Ph.D.)is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He has his first and second degree in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His doctoral degree in International Studies was from the School of International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia (the Northern University of Malaysia). Dr. Saka is an alumnus of the America Political Science Association APSA, Africa Fellows Programme, 2013; the Institute of Federalism, University of Fribourg, Switzerland, 2011; Council for the Development of Social Sciences Research in Africa CODESRIA, Governance Institute, 2007. Dr. Saka has attended numerous workshops including SEPHIS/SEASREP Alternative Research Methodology Workshop, Manila, the Philippines, 2009 and CODESRIA Writing Workshop, Nairobi, Kenya, 2006. Dr. Saka published works has appeared in Africa Security Review, African Renaissance, Journal of Administrative Sciences, Hemispheres-Studies in Cultures and Societies among other reputable outlets. Dr. Saka was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Politics and International Relations, North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, Republic of South Africa, November 2015-October 2016.He is currently the Head, Department of Political Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
