Dr. OPAYEMI, Aderemi Sunday joined the services of the University of Ilorin in 2014, and he is currentlythe Acting Head of Department of Psychology.He has a Ph.D. in Psychology, with major interests in Applied Psychology.
He assumed the leadership mantle of the Department in 2016, and has since then been steering the affairs of the Department towards great achievements amongst which include the graduation of the pioneering class of the Department, in 2017.
He is a prolific writer and erudite scholar with so many publications, who is well renowned for his versatile contributions at national as well as international conferences and workshops.
He is a member of many professional and learned societies which includes among others American Psychological Association (
Dr. Opayemi is happily married, and the marriage is blessed with children.
